Four booths are up and running for the July 4 holiday, selling the Safe and Sane fireworks at locations throughout Escalon.

On the east end of town, Escalon Strong has its booth set up in the dirt lot across Elizabeth Avenue from Orlando’s Market, in the 2200 block of Jackson Avenue.

Two booths are situated along McHenry Avenue, with the Escalon Sports Boosters booth in the Vineyard Square Shopping Center parking lot in the 1900 block, near MarVal, while Escalon Little League is operating its booth in the 3300 block of McHenry, near Ace Hardware.

Finally, on the west end of town, the El Portal Parent Teacher Club is in the 900 block of Yosemite, adjacent to the recently renovated and reopened business The Barn, just across the railroad tracks along the highway headed toward Manteca.

Only the state fire marshal-approved Safe and Sane fireworks can be sold at these booths; Escalon allows the use of them within city limits.

Sales at the fireworks booths could begin at noon on Sunday, June 28 and can continue until midnight on Saturday, July 4.
