Manuel Loureiro “Buddy” passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 95. He was born in French Camp, California to Anna and Frank Loureiro. He grew up in Escalon, California on a dairy farm and attended Escalon High School where he was actively involved in sports. As an adult, he attended every football game with his buddies. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy, stationed in the Pacific Islands. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda, former wife Pierina, his son John, and his sister Eleanor.

He is survived by his brother Robert Loureiro (Arthene), his first wife Ida Theiler, his five children Julie Loureiro, Elaine Robbiano (Paul), David Loureiro, James Loureiro (Toni) and Ann Kline (Brian), along with his step children JJ Padilla (Lisa), and Felicia Padilla, his 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing at Eaton Family Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 16 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, followed by a gravesite service at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery on Scenic Drive.
