Just a couple of days after the annual National Night Out in early August, members of the Escalon Police Department will continue their outreach to the community. A special ‘Cone with a Cop’ gathering is being planned for Thursday, Aug. 6 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., being hosted in conjunction with the local McDonald’s at 1960 McHenry Ave., Escalon.

All in the community are welcome to attend and enjoy a free cone, courtesy of McDonald’s, while taking time to meet with local Escalon police officers, ask questions and build positive community-police connections.

This is a fun, family-friendly event for the community.
