May Calendar Filling Up For Quilt Guild

The Oakdale Quilters’ Guild has more than doubled in membership since January and has a new meeting place. The meetings will now be at Community United Methodist Church at 1480 Poplar, Oakdale, in the Johnson Social Hall. Their classes and sew days will remain at Blossom Quilting, River Road Plaza, Oakdale. They welcome and encourage quilters of all experience levels.

May is shaping up to be a very busy month for members.

The guild will have a boutique at the Burchell Hill yard sales in Oakdale on Saturday, May 6. Members will be set up at North Maag Avenue and Esther Way in Oakdale on May 6 with quilts, fabric bundles and other gifts for sale just in time to shop for Mother’s Day.

The May meeting will be on Thursday, May 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the new location of Community United Methodist Church, 1480 Poplar St.
