Junior and senior girls in high school are being encouraged to seek the title of Miss Escalon 2017, with informational meetings coming up later this month.

Contestants must reside in the Escalon Unified School District or attend Escalon High School.

Informational meetings are scheduled on Wednesday, May 24 and Wednesday, May 31, both meetings at 6 p.m., hosted at Pizza Plus in Escalon. If you love Escalon and want to represent your community as part of the 2017 Miss Escalon Court, come to one of the informational meetings and learn all about the pageant, which is hosted during Park Fete Week in July.

Miss Escalon 2017 and her court will have the opportunity to win scholarship money to be used toward future education, as well as community service opportunities throughout the year.
