Gnekow Family Winery, out of Farmington had a booth set up at the weekend’s Cheese and Wine Exposition in neighboring Riverbank, where they shared their Old Vine Zinfandel and a Campus Oaks Pinot Grigio. Soloists, such as LilLana Cajias of Escalon, along with duos, trios and everything in between performed during Saturday’s opening day of the annual Expo in downtown Riverbank. Thousands of people from around the region flocked to town to participate in the two-day street fair, carnival and cheese, wine and beer tasting events.
