The Escalon Senior Fun Bunch’s next monthly event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17. This month’s theme is “Cheers for the Team.” The gathering for all area seniors will be hosted at the Escalon Community Center from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and those planning to attend are encouraged to wear their favorite team’s hat or shirt.

Fun Bunch planning committee member Cindy Moreno said the afternoon will feature a couple of special guests.

Scheduled to appear as guest speakers are Steve Scott, 1979 Escalon High School graduate, KCBS Radio (San Francisco) Morning News Anchor, and Public Address Announcer for the Golden State Warriors; and Jill Franceschetti Victorino, 1974 Escalon High School graduate, and San Francisco Giants Ball Dudette. Entertainment will be provided by Jeff Teczon, saxophonist and keyboardist.

All Escalon Senior Fun Bunch events are free and open to senior citizens throughout the area. Refreshments will be served, and there will be a prize drawing and other activities during the afternoon. For more information, contact Cindy at 209-401-8295.
