SUNDAY, JULY 5

7:20 a.m. – Complaint of malicious mischief, residence was toilet papered overnight on Mission; log note only.

8:04 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle check, 1000 block Escalon Avenue, Escalon Community Center; checks OK.

9:33 a.m. – Welfare check on Deborah Circle; assisted.

10:42 a.m. – Security check at Hogan-Ennis Park, 1000 block Escalon Avenue; checks OK.

10:55 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the area of Yosemite and Sacramento; on call back, went to voicemail, officer left a message. Checks OK.

2:12 pm. – Business alarm sounding, 1900 block McHenry; checks OK.

8:54 p.m. – Security check, officer initiated activity at Sanchez Park, Sanchez and Cardinal; checks OK.

SATURDAY, JULY 4

4:28 a.m. – Train vs. pedestrian incident reported at Main and Fifth; Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway reported the incident. Escalon Police responded to the scene along Main between Franklin and Fifth streets. Authorities reported that a 19-year-old male from Escalon died as a result of the collision. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

9:12 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, unknown subject in the area of Main Street Park, laying on the stage, possibly sleeping. Determined to be charging his phone, police said the man was a local resident, log note only.

11:48 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from a business in the 20000 block of McHenry, no signs of distress in the area, no signs of forced entry; all appears secure. Log note only.

12:34 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from a location on Clough, determined to be accidental dial; log note only.

1:21 p.m. – Code enforcement in the 1900 block of Jackson.

3:13 p.m. – Public assist at the police station, 2000 block McHenry.

4:52 p.m. – Welfare check request for subject seen around the Main Street Park, possibly sleeping in the area; advised of park hours and camping ordinance.

8:24 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle check in the 1000 block of Escalon Avenue, Hogan-Ennis Park area; officer initiated activity, checks OK.

8:35 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, area of Escalon Avenue and Highway 120. Log note only.

8:46 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the area of Edgetown; on call back, determined to be accidental dial, checks OK.

8:57 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the area of Miller; on call back, determined to be accidental dial. Secure.

10:16 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, loud party on Jessica Circle; advised.

11:20 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint on Deborah Circle; log note only.

11:42 p.m. – Suspicious person reported in the area, 2200 block Jackson; log note only.

FRIDAY, JULY 3

2:45 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle check, officer initiated activity in the 1000 block of Escalon Avenue, Hogan-Ennis Park; log note only.

8:33 a.m. – Be on the lookout issued for a subject wanted on a warrant, known to frequent the Manteca, Escalon, Stockton and Lathrop areas; log note only.

11:32 a.m. – Driver reported, possibly under the influence, swerving and passing unsafely in the area of Highway 120 and Irwin, last seen southbound on Irwin; unable to locate.

2:46 p.m. – Public assist at police station, subject with questions regarding a tow hearing. Advised.

4:31 p.m. – Welfare check request for a subject possibly needing assistance in a parked vehicle with its hazard lights on, Autumn Lane; checks OK.

8:46 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from a location on Oklahoma, determined to be child playing with the phone; checks OK, no emergency.

10:18 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle check at a business, 1600 block of First; officer initiated activity, checks OK.

THURSDAY, JULY 2

8:08 a.m. – Be on the lookout issued from Stockton CHP for reckless, possibly intoxicated driver, seen in the area, 2500 block Jackson; unable to locate.

9:46 a.m. – Citizen flagged down officer in the area of Reisling and Valdapena; checks OK.

9:49 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang up from the area of Hogan-Ennis Park, 1000 block Escalon Avenue; checks OK.

10:02 a.m. – Parking enforcement on Adriana Way, officer initiated activity, advised.

10:29 a.m. – Probation/parole search, officer initiated activity in the 2500 block of Jackson; log note only.

1:09 p.m. – Reckless driving report, CHP transfer, vehicle in the area of Highway 120 and Main, almost crashed into oncoming traffic, last seen westbound; unable to locate.

2:55 p.m. – Be on the lookout issued by Stockton CHP for a vehicle running other vehicles off the roadway due to reckless driving, area of McHenry and Countrywood. Advised.

6:02 p.m. – Reckless driving on Valdapena, off road vehicle in orchard; warned.

8:51 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance reported on Coley; unknown vehicle seen in the area. Gone on arrival.

11:35 p.m. – Complaint of a reckless driver, area of Highway 120 and Jackson; unable to locate.

11:51 p.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1400 block First; checks OK.
