Ringing in 2017 with parties, live music in Turlock

Turlockers looking for the perfect place to celebrate the end of 2016 and ring in the beginning of 2017 need look no further than local bars and restaurants that will be offering special celebrations on New Year's Eve. 

Vintage Lounge and Piano Bar will be hosting a New Year's Eve Party with live music from the MCW Band, heavy hors d'oeuvres and a champagne toast at 12 a.m. Tickets are $25 per person and $40 per couple if purchased in advance, and $30 per person and $50 per couple at the door. Vintage Lounge and Piano Bar is located at 130 W. Main Street. 

Red Brick Bar & Grill will “Let the Party Begin” with its own NYE 2017 party beginning at 10 p.m. with two DJs playing dance, house, EDM, hip hop and top 40 music both inside the venue and on the patio. The bar and grill will offer photo booth services, drink specials, as well as tacos, burritos, nachos and quesadillas available for purchase outside on the patio. Guests can also buy champagne, party blowers and hookah. There is no cover to attend. Red Brick Bar & Grill is located at 153 S. Broadway Avenue. 

As one of Turlock’s newest downtown hotspot, The Udder Place will host a New Year’s Eve Party with live music from The California Outlaws, which is a group of five individuals who collectively have over 40 years of music experience. The cover charge is $5. The Udder Place is located at 110 W. Main Street.

For a more upscale evening, Toscana’s Ristoranté will host a New Year’s Eve Dinner from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Guests will enjoy a prix-fixe four course meal and a complimentary glass of champagne. Toscana’s Ristoranté is located at 1801 Colorado Avenue. 

The Turlock Pentecost Association will present “An Evening of Excellence” at this year’s New Year’s Eve Ball. Ticket prices include drinks, entertainment and dinner, and guests can choose between a steak and shrimp dinner, chicken and shrimp dinner, or chicken strips . The social hour starts at 6:30 p.m., dinner starts at 7:30 p.m., and dancing will be from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. For more information, contact President Mike Ralls at 495-9056.
