Raymond Manuel Vieira passed away at the age of 82 on December 6, 2020. Raymond was born April 11, 1938 to Manuel and Sophia Vieira in Ripon, CA. Raymond spent six years in the National Guard and retired as a sergeant. In 1961, he married the love of his life, Dolores; together they had one son, Joseph. Raymond enjoyed water skiing, working on the ranch, wrenching on diesel motors and trucks. He and Dolores loved traveling as often as they could in their motorhome. Raymond was a very hard working man but enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was the most kind, gentle and caring man that everyone enjoyed being around.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, his son Joey, and his brothers Ernest, Richard, and Wil. He leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Dolores, his sister, Edna (Albert) Freitas of Manteca and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapel. Due to the current COVID restrictions, services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Escalon Ambulance or the Michael J. Fox Foundation (michaeljfox.org) for Parkinson’s research in his name. To send the family your condolences, please visit Raymond’s tribute page at www.deeganfuneralchapels.com.
