Albert Johnson passed away peacefully on September 8, 2017 in Modesto surrounded by his family.Albert was born on October 12, 1932 in Burns, Oregon to Luther and Hazel Johnson. He grew up on his family’s dairy and cattle ranch in Escalon and after graduating from Escalon High School enlisted into the Merchant Marines and served in Korea. After being discharged from the Army he went to work for Caltrans for nearly 30 years.
