Two fun and unique Halloween events are coming up over the next few days on the campus of Escalon High School.

First, get ready to lace up your sneakers and take part in the Zombie Color Fun Run, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23. The fundraising event is being put on by the Escalon High School Art and Music departments with a 5 p.m. start time at Escalon High School. Costumes are encouraged; there will be prizes, music and food available for purchase at the event. Cost to register is $25. There will be face painting for a small fee as well for those participants that want to add a little Halloween flair before they start out on the fun run route.

There are Color Run posters for this year displayed around the community that feature artwork by EHS students and include a QR code for signing up.

Then, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28, it’s the Escalon High School First Responders Program hosting its annual Trunk-or-Treat event. Running from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Trunk or Treat will be set up in the Agriculture Department parking lot at Escalon High School, off Stanislaus Street. There will be food, games, treats, and more.

All in the community are invited to attend and enjoy this fun and safe evening for local families.
