Members of the Escalon Sunrise Rotary will once again be hosting the annual Senior Christmas Dinner, which is scheduled on Friday, Dec. 1 at the Escalon United Methodist Church.

The dinner and program will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the church, 2000 Jackson Ave., Escalon.

“A lasagna dinner will be served along with other Christmas festivities,” said Rotarian Dave Mantooth. “The event is open to the community.”

The meal will include lasagna, salad, bread and beverages; attendees will also enjoy dessert and the Rotary Club provides some entertainment as part of the evening. Each senior in attendance will receive a gift bag of items.

Those planning to attend are asked to contact John Weeks at 209-470-2660 so organizers can get a good count and plan accordingly.

While it is billed as a ‘senior’ dinner, Mantooth said all are welcome, with some seniors often attending with family members.
