It was an electronic waste collection day on April 12 in Escalon, with a crew from Onsite Electronics Recycling setting up at the Escalon Community Center for the 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. event on Sunday. Rolando Ibarra was busy here working on wrapping up one of the boxes while Pedro Pucheta looked over the small items dropped off by residents, including a variety of batteries. Also assisting with the collection was Carlos Ortega, as the crew of three dodged some raindrops but reported a steady stream of people dropping off their e-waste.
