Yosemite Avenue between Sierra Drive and Mitchell Avenue, in front of Dent Elementary School, is closed to through traffic. The closure was scheduled to begin Monday, June 9 and will continue for about two months.

This area will be receiving new storm drain lines and inlets, new curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and pavement. The work is anticipated to continue through mid-August.

It is anticipated that, for the most part, residents will have access to their driveways and may cautiously enter and exit. The city’s contractor for the project will make every effort to keep access available for the residents and emergency services through the course of construction.
