It was another Science Saturday earlier this month at the Escalon Public Library, with attendees learning how to make volcanoes with some common household items. They constructed the base for their volcanoes inside the library, then took them outside to pour in the ingredients to create the chemical reaction and have the volcanoes ‘overflow’ with the homemade lava. Leading the science event was library staffer Amanda Clifford, with assistance from Sally Hale.
