2:37 a.m. – Security check in the 1900 block of McHenry; checks OK.

4:09 a.m. – Check of business complex, 1200 block Plaza; no problems noted.

8:09 a.m. – Report of vehicle smoking, possible car fire in the area, 2200 block of Edmart.

 

SUNDAY, APRIL 30

12:25 a.m. – Officer initiated activity in the 2000 block of Jackson; suspicious person seen in the area; checks OK.

1:11 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the area, 2500 block Jackson; checks OK.

5:56 a.m. – Petty theft complaint, items taken from vehicle in the 2300 block of Yosemite.

2:10 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, verbal dispute in the 1400 block of Walnut.

4:48 p.m. – Security check, Escalon Community Center; no problems noted.

5:12 p.m. – Assist outside agency, check of McHenry and River Road area for a vehicle, assistance provided to San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department.

5:56 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 600 block of First; secure, misdial only.

6:38 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint in the 1700 block of Baker; one subject released on a citation.

 

SATURDAY, APRIL 29

8:01 a.m. – Meet a citizen at police department regarding parking citation question, 2000 block McHenry.

8:48 a.m. – Security check in the 1900 block of McHenry; checks OK.

10:04 a.m. – Suspicious person reported at a business in the 1400 block of Stanislaus; advised to stay out of the area.

11:09 a.m. – Business alarm sounding at City Hall, 2000 block McHenry; checks OK, false alarm.

1:15 p.m. – Suspicious person reported in the area, Highway 120 and Brayton; unable to locate anyone.

7:22 p.m. – Suspicious person in the 1200 block of Yosemite; arrest made.

7:36 p.m. – Possible intoxicated driver reported, headed from Oakdale to Escalon; log note only.

9:18 p.m. – Possible intoxicated driver reported, 2500 block Jackson; unable to locate.

11:18 p.m. – Warrant arrest in the 1900 block of Jackson; subject released on a citation.

 

FRIDAY, APRIL 28

12:26 a.m. – Security check in the 1500 block of Yosemite, Escalon High School campus; checks OK.

3:28 a.m. – Check of Sanchez Park, Cardinal and Sanchez; checks OK.

4:50 a.m. – Check of Swanson Park; Sophie and Swanson; area secure.

9:08 a.m. – Petty theft complaint, cell phone taken in the 1500 block of Yosemite.

10:30 a.m. – Suspicious person in the area, 1500 block Daniels.

10:57 a.m. – Non-injury accident reported, subject at City Hall to make report.

12:18 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1500 block of Countrywood; misdial, secure.

1:09 p.m. – Suspicious person reported in the area, 2400 block of California.

1:19 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, vehicle speeding and weaving in and out of traffic in the 400 block of Farinelli; gone on arrival.

3:52 p.m. – Petty theft complaint in the 1800 block of Main.

7:09 p.m. – Vandalism complaint, attempted break-in at home in the 2100 block of Jackson.

9:44 p.m. – Security check at the animal shelter and police department shooting range, 25000 block River Road; no problems noted.

10:53 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint in the 1300 block of Elizabeth; unable to locate any issues.

4:46 a.m. – Check of Dent Elementary campus in the 1900 block of Yosemite; no problems noted.

4:55 a.m. – Extra patrol, officer initiated activity on Autumnwood Court; no problems noted.

5:58 a.m. – Extra patrol at Edgetown and Narcissus.

10:16 a.m. – Extra patrol downtown; 1700 block Main.

4:35 p.m. – Smoke reported from the area, 2100 block Franklin; determined to be illegal burn.

4:36 p.m. – Residential alarm sounding in the 500 block of Thompson Way; checks OK, false alarm.
