Family and friends of the late Joey Pinasco will gather for a candlelight vigil at Escalon's Hogan Park on Escalon Avenue tonight, Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 8 p.m.
Pinasco, 21, was shot and killed following a CHP pursuit early morning Sunday, Aug. 24. In his honor, the family is offering the community a chance to gather and celebrate his life and share their memories with each other.
Mom Toni Pinasco said it's not intended to be a 'forum' of any type, just a chance for those that knew and loved her son to gather. Posters around the community have been up for the past couple of weeks publicizing the event.
