ZaSu Pitts Memorial Orchestra Performing Nov. 9 At State
theater

The State Theatre is thrilled to announce the return of the ZaSu Pitts Memorial Orchestra plus special guests Lester Chambers (from the Chambers Brothers), Ruben Valtierra (Weird Al Yankovic), David Aguilar (Norton Buffalo) plus local legends Joe Barretta and Gary Nelson (and others) on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019. The 13 piece R & B band, formed by bass player and recipient of the 2018 MAMA’s Lifetime Achievement Award Steve Ashman, are coming back for an evening of unforgettable music. The Pitts can best be compared to a ’60s Motown soul revue with all of the horns, vocals and rhythm guaranteed to rock the house. ZPMO is the world’s most dangerous jam band and is sure to play the favorites that’ll make you dance in the aisles. Doors open at 7 p.m. and music starts promptly at 8 p.m. The Pitts sold out in advance in March and this show will be no different so get your tickets early.

General admission tickets are $40. (A $2 preservation fee applies to every ticket) For online ticket sales go to www.thestate.org.To purchase your tickets by phone call the Box Office at 209-527-4697 from noon to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
