Mud Run At DellOsso Set For Saturday

The Dell’Osso Family is inviting boys and girls, men and women of all ages to their annual Mud Run on the Farm 5K obstacle-course run, on Saturday, May 31. This extremely popular race is held on the Dell’Osso Family Farm, 501 Manthey Road in Lathrop.

The 5K course features 15 obstacles, designed to be difficult, but certainly not impossible. It also promises to be an outrageous good time. If there’s an obstacle that’s too much for you, go around. No shame there. Personal safety is the most important thing. But completion of the obstacles is required to win fast time.

Dell'Osso Family Farm will be donating a portion of the proceeds to benefit The American Cancer Society and other local charity and non-profit organizations.

Entry fee is now $75. Mud Runners will receive a commemorative T-shirt and finisher’s medal, post-race “Beer Garden” with one free beer (only for Mudders 21 years and older), plenty of prizes and trophies.

Because of the large number of participants, the Mud Run must start in waves. The first wave goes off at 8 a.m. Participants select their wave time during the registration process. If mudders want to run with a friend or group, they need to be sure to book at the same time or have one person purchase all the individual tickets. Waves are capped at 300 runners. It’s recommend that participants arrive at least an hour before their wave time begins.

Wave times start at 8 a.m. and go off every 20 minutes through 1 p.m., when the last wave starts, for a total of 16 waves.

Each wave consists of both men and women from every age group. You may register for any available wave.

Race-Day Packet Pick-up/Check-in starts at 7 a.m. on Saturday, May 31. Packets need to be picked up at least an hour before wave time.
