Nearly 90 area seniors gathered at the Escalon Senior Fun Bunch Halloween event on Oct. 21, 2026, at the Escalon Community Center. Guests were treated to a Mountain Mike’s Pizza lunch and an afternoon filled with fun, games, laughs, prizes and pertinent information.

Dr. Wong from University of Pacific’s School of Pharmacy gave a timely presentation on Medicare Part D. Pastor Mark Buenafe of Escalon United Methodist Church demonstrated several balance exercises he learned from “A Matter of Balance” class this September. All guests had a chance to participate in the Senior Fun Bunch’s hilarious version of the Price is Right. Additional games included Pass the Pumpkin and Bop the Balloon, the latter of which was a big hit.

Over a dozen items were raffled which included the ghost table decorations and a gift card to The Barn. Several members came in costumes which brought Halloween spirit to the event.

All Escalon Senior Fun Bunch events are free to local senior citizens. The gatherings are on the third Wednesday of each month, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Escalon Community Center.
