Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 25 calls for service during the period of Monday, Aug. 3 through Sunday, Aug. 9. Calls included:

SATURDAY, AUG. 8

3:34 p.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 2000 block California Street.

10 p.m. – EMS call, 2400 block Yosemite.

FRIDAY, AUG. 7

6:10 a.m. – EMS call, 2500 block Jackson Avenue.

9:23 a.m. – EMS, 27000 block East Vine.

11:33 a.m. – EMS, 1600 block Daniels.

2:06 p.m. – EMS, 2400 block California.

THURSDAY, AUG. 6

2:42 a.m. – EMS call, 2400 block California.

10:46 a.m. – EMS, 1700 block Irwin.

11:09 a.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 1200 block Ullrey; determined to be a false alarm.

11:18 a.m. – Medical alarm sounding, 1700 block Irwin Avenue; false alarm.

12:16 p.m. – Vegetation fire, Skiff, cross of Escalon-Bellota; mutual aid to Farmington Fire Department to assist with a roadside grass fire.

8:50 p.m. – EMS, 2100 block California.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 5

5:23 a.m. – Lift assist, 800 block Rosina.

8:54 a.m. – EMS call, 1500 block Elizabeth.

4:11 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Highway 120 and Van Allen; two vehicles involved with roadway partially blocked. One immediate patient, pinned in, one delayed and one minor injury. Responding fire crew extricated pinned in patient and assisted with traffic control on scene.

TUESDAY, AUG. 4

5:30 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Escalon-Bellota and Dodds; two vehicle accident determined to be in Farmington district, reported as non-injury.

6:16 a.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 1900 block McHenry; determined to be a false alarm.

3:48 p.m. – EMS call, Mahon and Escalon-Bellota.

4:37 p.m. – Vegetation fire, Mariposa and Carrolton; mutual aid with Farmington, small roadside grass fire located in area.

6:58 p.m. – EMS, 1500 block Adriana Way.

10:56 p.m. – Carbon monoxide alarm sounding, 400 block First Street; determined to be a false alarm.

MONDAY, AUG. 3

8:24 a.m. – EMS call, 2400 block Mission.

5:02 p.m. – EMS, 24000 block River Road; canceled prior to arrival.

8:45 p.m. – Smoke investigation, 26000 block Highway 120; unable to locate anything in the area.

9:42 p.m. – Possible structure fire, Lone Tree and Victory roads; report of a barn on fire, checked area, unable to locate. Determined to be glow from Gann fire still burning in Calaveras County.
