The Times recently made a stop at the local Country Kids Child Development Center to learn a little bit about holiday preparations. Four youngsters were asked the question: How do you cook a Thanksgiving turkey? Here are their answers:
“I like turkey. My mommy knows how to make it and she cooks snacks.”
Isabella Green
“I never saw her do it but my mom cooks it, she never told me about cooking a turkey. You just put it in a regular hot oven.”
Lucas Trejo
“You would cut its head off and then make it hot in a pot. A pretty big pot.”
Casey Hussman
“Put it in the oven at one degree for the whole day. I like the white meat. And pumpkin pie.”
