A couple of upcoming events will offer up some fun and shopping opportunities while raising money for Escalon High School students.

First up, on Thursday, Nov. 7, join in the fun and plan to attend the Escalon Sober Grad Fall Bunco Bash. The event will be hosted at Saron Lutheran Church, 1742 North St., Escalon, and starts at 6:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres, with the Bunco games beginning at 7 p.m.

Cost is $20 per person and proceeds will help finance the Sober Grad Night festivities for the Class of 2014 at Escalon High School. The Sober Grad all night party gives graduating EHS seniors a chance to enjoy their final night of high school together in a safe, sober environment with plenty of food, games, prizes, music and more.

For tickets to the Sober Grad Bunco Bash, call Tammy Alcantor at 209-480-3728.

This weekend, get started on some holiday shopping and support the Escalon High School Band Boosters. That group is planning the Fall Cougar Street Fair for Saturday, Nov. 9 indoors at the Escalon High School Performing Arts Center, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those attending will be able to shop local vendors while supporting the Escalon High School band. There will be crafts, antiques, local shops, arts, unique gift ideas, music, food and drinks.

Contact Sonya Huff at 209-484-4465 for questions or vendor information.
