UNITED CHAMPIONS

Escalon United teams just wrapped up their indoor season at Big League Dreams. Two out of the three teams made it to playoffs and the U12 Boys, pictured, were crowned as champions. Coaches noted that the U8B did very well for being the youngest team in their bracket and being a team of primarily six-year-olds. The U10 team had an impressive record of seven wins and one tie, qualifying first place for the tournament but losing playoffs against Alternativo FC, 4-1. U12 also qualified first with seven wins and one loss, winning their playoff game 3-0 vs. Manteca SOL Earthquakes and then winning the championship game 6-2 vs. Atletico FC. In the championship game, Jesse Gomez scored four goals, with one each from Logan Huebner and Derek Silva.
