Just in time for the soccer season, Cougar squads have been battling both other teams and the elements over the past couple of weeks.

For the varsity boys, the team has been busy since Nov. 22, first playing in a tournament and winning one of three games there. They lost two games on the first day, Nov. 22, taking a 2-1 loss to Oakdale and then were shut out 1-0 by Atwater. They came back to take a 1-0 win against Johansen on Nov. 23.

It was a 5-2 non-league win against Linden for the Cougars on Nov. 26 and then they took a 3-1 loss to Liberty Ranch on Dec. 2.

Tuesday, Dec. 3 saw the varsity boys shut out Argonaut in a 5-0 decision. Thursday, Dec. 5 they took a 3-2 loss to Manteca.

On the varsity girls side, they earned a 2-1 win against Linden on Nov. 26 to open up the campaign. They then forged a 3-3 tie with Modesto on Dec. 2 and raced to a 5-0 win at Argonaut on Dec. 3.
