A female Golden Eagle now makes Micke Grove Zoo her home and all are encouraged to come see her and all the other animals at the zoo, open daily at 10 a.m.

Also, paddleboat rentals are available on the weekends, noon to 7 p.m. at Oak Grove Regional Park; life jackets are provided. Tent camping is available seven days a week at Westgate Landing and Stillman Magee regional parks; call 209-953-8800 and take option 1. Wild Water Play Days will be the final camp offered at Micke Grove, running from Monday, July 16 through Friday, July 20.
