Opening Day Saturday

Join in with the Escalon Recreation Department for the Opening Day Ceremonies of the Babe Ruth baseball season on Saturday, March 11. Festivities will start at 8 a.m. at the Escalon Hogan-Ennis Park complex adjacent to the Community Center. For more information, call 691-7372.

Sports Boosters Dinner

The Escalon High School Sports Boosters Dinner, Dance and Auction is set for this Saturday, March 11 at the Escalon Community Center. The goal is to raise money for all sports teams at EHS and the festivities start with cocktails at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m. and dancing after dinner until midnight. Cost is $50 per individual ticket; $400 for a reserved table for eight. Contact Melanie McPherrin at 209-603-0172 to purchase tickets. The annual Sports Boosters fundraiser includes a hosted bar, dinner, raffle, live and silent auction and dancing.

Outlaws Sign-Ups

The Escalon Outlaws Football and Cheer will be holding sign-ups for the 2017 season at the Escalon Public Library. Sign-ups are scheduled for Wednesday, March 15 and Thursday, March 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Program officials said they are looking forward to another fun filled season.
