Foxy Ladies and Memorial Splitting Headaches shared the top honors for the recent weekly action at the lanes in the El Portal Bowling League, each rolling to a mark of 24½-15½.

They were followed by Farm Girls, Tupperware & Travel, Bartelink Dairy, 22-18; Escalon Body & Frame, 19-21; Borba Dairy, 14-26; Dutch Girls, 11-29.

Ginger Serpa had the high scratch game, 189, for the week and the high handicap game, 260. Mary Panero had the high scratch series, 466 and Suzanne Pater had the high handicap series, 641.

Season-to-date leaders are Kelly Homen with a 159.11 individual high average and 564 scratch series; Erlene Price, 689 handicap series; Ginger Serpa, 268 handicap game and Barbara Webb, 223 scratch game.

Just a few more weeks remain in the season, and bowlers gather each Thursday at 10 a.m. at McHenry Bowl in Modesto.
