Senior golfer Tyson Pomicpic has really found his game lately. Playing consistent, smart golf, coach Rusty Fachner said he is pleased to see the senior stepping up and being a leader on the course and finding his stroke.

“I’m just staying focused, playing within myself,” Pomicpic said of what has made the difference for him as the season has gone on.

He earns Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts and has played golf for Escalon High for two years. He also played football all four years. He’s eager to continue playing well as the golf team looks forward to divisionals.

Pomicpic hopes to attend Sacramento State and plans to pursue a career in criminal justice.
