Kiwanis Club Plans Golf Tournament

Escalon Kiwanis Club is putting on the Tom and Betty Hagan 17th Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 16 at the Escalon Golf Course.

The scramble format tournament starts with an 11 a.m. registration and a shotgun start at noon at assigned holes. Complimentary beverages will be served from noon to 3 p.m. at the number six tee box and in the clubhouse. Dinner, provided by Main Street Market, begins at 3:30 p.m. with the awards presentation at 4:15 p.m.

Awards will include Low Gross combined team, comprised of men and women; Low Gross all men's team. There will also be raffle prize drawings and the cost of the event is $45 per player. The registration includes green fees, 18 holes of golf, tee prizes and dinner. Net proceeds benefit local community youth activities and post secondary scholarships.
