Lady Cougars Isabella Nalbandian and Rylie Lattig took first place girls doubles honors in the recent Riverbank Doubles Tournament, a non-league competition hosted by the Bruins.

Several Escalon players also took second place honors in the tournament as well.

In recent Trans-Valley League action, Escalon defeated Livingston on the road, 7-2.

Match wins came for Josh Schut at boys number one singles, Isabella Nalbandian and Rylie Lattig in girls singles. At number two boys doubles, Escalon got a forfeit win. Both girls doubles teams for Escalon were victorious, Makyala Wentzell and Sophia Martin, Kali Castellanos and Laura Thompson; while the mixed doubles pairing of Collin Haskin and Carolina Sandoval also played to a win in the TVL contest.

Against Hughson, the Cougars fell by a 6-3 decision. Their wins came at girls number two singles, with Lattig winning 4-6, 6-2, 6-3; girls number one doubles, Martin and Wentzell crafting a 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 victory; and girls number two doubles, Lily McCracken and Laura Thompson winning 6-4, 7-5.
