Farmington preparing for annual fall festival
fall fest

Still a couple of months away, organizers of the Farmington Fall Festival have already put out the call for vendors, hoping to get several on board for the mid-October fest.

Spokesperson Crystal Kalebaugh said they are looking for vendors offering homemade goods, sweets and treats, and crafts, as well as having face painting and food options on site.

The tent spaces are 10-by-10 and $40 is due as a deposit to secure the space when signing up. Vendors are also asked to provide a raffle basket.

The Farmington Fall Festival is on the calendar for Saturday, Oct. 17 at Jacob Strojan Park in Farmington, at 25626 Elm St., adjacent to the Farmington United Methodist Church. The festival will run from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Those signing up to participate are asked to be set up by 10 a.m. on the morning of the event.

This will be the third year for the festival, and many of the vendors offer up Halloween and autumn-themed items, as well as some with décor, crafts and gifts, to get a head start on shopping for the holidays. The EPIC, Everything is Possible In Christ, organization that meets at the church, has coordinated the festival for the past two years.
