Weekly action continues on the lanes for the El Portal Bowling League, with bowlers gathering each Thursday at McHenry Bowl.

Here is a look at the recent competition.

Elaine’s Travel was on top at 15-5 in recent play, followed by Memorial Splitting Headaches, Pin Ups, 13-7; Foxie Ladies, 12½-7½; Better Late Than Never!, 12-8; We Been Robbed, 11½-8½; Dutch Girls, 11-9; Bartelink Dairy, U-3 Ranch, Escalon Body & Frame, 8-12; What The Heck, 6-14.

For that week, Kelly Homen had the high scratch game, 193 and high handicap game, 231; Cindy Kruger had the high scratch series, 479 and Jeanne Brand the high handicap series, 619.

Next, Pin Ups rolled a 17-7 for the weekly honors, followed by Better Late Than Never!, Elaine’s Travel, 16-8; Memorial Splitting Headaches, 15-9; We Been Robbed, Dutch Girls, 14½-9½; Foxie Ladies, 13-11; Escalon Body & Frame, Bartelink Dairy, 10-14; U-3 Ranch, What The Heck, 8-16.

Nancy Maag rolled both the high scratch game, 201 and high handicap game, 251, for that week with Kelley Homen taking the high scratch series, 486 and Jennifer Cunningham the high handicap series, 645.

Rounding out the action, the Week 24 results showed Pin Ups on top at 22-10, followed by Better Late Than Never!, Foxie Ladies, 20-12; We Been Robbed, 19½-12½; Memorial Splitting Headaches, 19-13; Elaine’s Travel, 18-14; Bartelink Dairy, 17-15; Dutch Girls, 16½-15½; Escalon Body & Frame, 15-17; What The Heck, 12-20; U-3 Ranch, 11-21.

Chris Magana bowled the high scratch game for the week at 201, with Paula Phipps sweeping the rest of the categories, 488 scratch series, 258 handicap game, 683 handicap series.

For the season to date, Cindy Kruger has the individual high average, 160.74; Kelley Homen, scratch series, 550; Chris Magana and Anita Hay, scratch game, 209; Erlene Price, handicap series, 715; Sandy Cox, handicap game, 268.

The league bowls each Thursday at 10 a.m.
