The latest results from the El Portal Bowling League had Val De Rose at the top with a 35-17 mark in the Dec. 5 competition.

They were followed by Elaine’s Travel, 29-23; Dutch Girls, 26½-25½; Bartelink Dairy, 26-26; Escalon Body & Frame, 25½-26½; Mis-Splits, 24½-27½; Always Trying, 24-28; The Flocking Flamingoes, 23-29; Foxie Ladies, 22-30; Pin-Ups, 20½-23½.

Cindy Kruger turned in top score for the week in scratch game, 192; scratch series, 530; and handicap series, 638, while Ginger Serpa rolled the high handicap game, 231.

Leaders for the season so far are Kelly Homen, 161.80 individual high average and 556 scratch series; Cindy Kruger and Stacy Lub, 201 scratch game; Paula Phipps, 694 handicap series; Lenny Nottley, 256 handicap game.

Members of the El Portal league gather each Thursday, 10 a.m., at McHenry Bowl in Modesto.
