Athletes for the Escalon track and field team made the short trip to Oakdale for a practice meet recently, with girls here vying in a heat of the 100 meter dash. The Cougar track and field squad was slated to take part in the Trans-Valley League relays at Riverbank this week and have well over 100 participants suiting up for the sport.
