Grateful For Season Of Support
Letter To The Editor 3-23-22
letters

Dear Editor,

This letter goes out to the “Community of Escalon.”

We were fortunate to have the opportunity to experience a closer to “normal” high school basketball season this past winter; without numerous county restrictions, without weekly COVID-19 testing, and the inclusion of spectators and a postseason. Our 38 student-athletes and the coaching staff enjoyed a successful season. We have had many local businesses take part in a sponsorship program for several years now and we are greatly appreciative of their continued support.

We’d like to highlight all of the businesses that signed up to be a season sponsor for the 2021-2022 season. The Escalon Boys’ Basketball Program would like to sincerely thank American Chevrolet, Bartelink Dairy, California Correctional Supervisors Organization, CT Brayton & Sons, Dairy Veterinary Services, D’Boni’s Pizza, Escalon Body & Frame, Escalon Family Dental, Escalon Feed & Supply, Hula’s, H2 Heating & Air, Kraft Heinz-Escalon, Main St. Garage, Mar-Val Food Stores, Mountain Mike’s Pizza, Oak Valley Community Bank, Opti Physical Therapy Institute, Scotty’s Painting, Sipma Insurance Agency, Tilbury Auto Parts, Vermeulen & Company CPAs, Veterinary Medical Associates, Willie Mandella Leather Craft, and 1st Class Blinds & Shutters.

We are very appreciative of each of these businesses that chose to make a financial contribution to our basketball program. Their financial assistance goes a long way in enhancing the overall experience for the student-athletes in our program. We would like to encourage everyone in our great community of Escalon to support the local businesses listed above.

Thank you and take care.

Coach Nate Bartelink
