Wilma Paladichuk

 

Wilma M. Paladichuk passed away peacefully on December 30, 2015 in Modesto at the age of 79. Wilma was born on January 19, 1936 in Culbertson, MT to Henry and Bernice Schwenke. She has been a resident of Escalon, CA for the past 48 years.

Wilma worked as an elementary school teacher for 20 years. She enjoyed playing her crossword puzzles and visiting casinos. Wilma also loved frogs and her dogs, Roxee and Jackson. Above all else, Wilma loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother that will be deeply missed.

Wilma leaves behind her husband of 61 years, John Paladichuk, her children: Todd Paladichuk of Jackson, TN, Dee Ann Paladichuk Goodman of La Grange, CA, and Debra Paladichuk (daughter-in-law), her grandchildren: Erin Coley, Trisha Pearson, Scott Paladichuk, Amy Villines, Jared Goodman, Andrea Labansky, Rick Sanchez, Derek Goodman and Taylor Paladichuk along with 15 great grandchildren. Wilma also leaves behind her siblings: Margret Rein of Great Falls, MT and Dwight Schwenke of Texas. Wilma is preceded in death by her oldest son, John Mark Paladichuk, her brother, Bob Schwenke and her sister, Irene Hedegaard.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapels. A private family service is scheduled for a later date. Remembrances in Wilma’s name may be made to the Escalon Ambulance.
