Virgene B. Clark, 98, of Bend, Oregon passed away on Wednesday, May 19.

She was born March 14, 1912 in Colville, Washington to Charles and Anna (Blair) Tucker. She married Richard W. Clark of Longview, Washington in 1934. She lived in California much of her life and was a medical transcriptionist. After the death of her husband, she lived in Escalon many years before moving to Oregon.

Mrs. Clark loved travel, good books, arts and crafts (including playing the piano), and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors included two daughters, Polly Clark Vosper of Escalon and Linda Armstrong of Bend, Oregon; one brother, Howard Tucker of Coleville, CA; three grandchildren, William Armstrong of Bend, Oregon, Wendy Anne Vosper of Modesto and Teresa Lynn Vosper of Escalon; and one great-granddaughter, Sophia Armstrong.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, two sisters and two brothers.

Private services were held.
