Theodor Ehrler Jr., 71, died on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 in Reno, Nevada. He was born on May 24, 1940 in Switzerland and had been a resident of Minden, Nevada for the past 13 years.

He was a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, with a B.S. degree in Ag Science and then also attended Law School. He was a long time farmer in California and Nevada and also was employed part-time at Delta College as an instructor for the Diesel Ag Mechanic department.

He was a member of the Catholic Church and was a knight in the "Knights of Columbus."

Survivors include his siblings, Erna Murphy of Stockton, Margaret Trombella of Farmington, Otto Ehrler and Ben Ehrler, both of South Lake Tahoe, CA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

His funeral services have been held; final resting place is at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Escalon.
