Sue Young, 93, passed away on Wednesday, April 2 in Modesto.
She was born on Jan. 1, 1915 in Italy, and had lived in Modesto for 35 years. She loved to dance and listen to music. She liked to cook and enjoyed going to church. She had a great sense of humor, and loved to laugh and have fun; she really enjoyed life.
Survivors include her daughter Darlene (Roland) Shores of Modesto; her son, Dennis Young of Modesto; and her grandsons, Eric Young of Modesto and Chris Young of Riverbank.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Young in 1990, her parents, and her six siblings.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, April 8 at Burwood Cemetery on River Road, Escalon.
