Sondra Jo Rebeiro peacefully passed away after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 71, February 12, 2022. Sondra was born June 9, 1950 in French Camp, CA to parents Joseph and Helen Rocha. Sondra, better known as “Sandi” by her friends and family, graduated Escalon High School in 1968 and went on to work as an Administrator’s Assistant to the Vice Chancellor at Modesto Junior College. Early in her business career, she was very involved with the Venture Club and served as President and Governor of that Organization; she then became a member of Soroptimist International and was proud to hold the title as the President of the Manteca Chapter. She enjoyed traveling to Conventions with this wonderful group of ladies who set out to make a difference in other young lady’s lives. Some of Sandi’s hobbies included: going to play Bingo with her daughter, Allison; taking road trips up to Black Oak Casino with her mom, Helen and SHOPPING!!! Let’s not forget how BIG of a Raider’s fan she was; she never missed a game. Silver and Black ‘till the end! And, of course visiting Allison and her family when they lived in Las Vegas. Sandi loved her family with all her heart. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sandi is survived by her mother, Helen Rocha; her daughter, Allison (Joshua) Acosta; her sister, Valorie Periera and her beautiful grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Payten, Addisen and Titan Acosta. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Rocha and brother, Michael Rocha.
