Robert Lee Fleming died on Wednesday, June 1.

He had been a resident of Escalon for the past eight years and previously lived in Danville until his retirement from George M. Martin in Emeryville.

He loved his Harley, it won "Best in Show" twice in Oakland and it made him sad that he was only able to ride it 16 miles because of his ill health. He was an amateur prospector and enjoyed gold panning with his boys, as well as doing woodworking.

Survivors include his wife Linda; sons Michael of San Leandro and Robert of Sacramento; grandson Michael R. Fleming; and sister-in-law Nancy Isler of San Ramon.

There will be a private celebration of life gathering for his family and friends. Arrangements by Deegan Chapel in Escalon; www.deeganfuneralchapels.com
