Rina Trombella, 95, of Farmington died Sunday, May 11 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
Born Dec. 6, 1912 in Filetto, Italy, she lived in Farmington for 57 years.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law Margaret Trombella of Farmington and her grandchildren, Michael A. Trombella of Oakdale, Marcus J. Trombella of San Anselmo and Laurie M. Trombella of Berkeley.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tony Trombella in 1964, and her son Bruno E. Trombella in 2006.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed the outdoors and farming. She was an excellent Italian cook, famous for her family dinners, and she also enjoyed gardening.
Per her request, services will be private.
