Rebecca “Nana” Toledo, 79, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on December 25, 2021, with her loving husband by her side, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Rebecca Toledo was born April 26, 1942, in Pacoima, California, the daughter of Rey Lopez and Eva (Moreno) Tamayo. Rebecca grew up and graduated in Selma, California. Rebecca graduated from beauty college in Fresno, California, where she married her husband, Charles Toledo Sr., on August 14, 1960. Rebecca was happily married for 61 years. Rebecca was mother to six children and “Nana” to many.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by Rey Jr., Michael Tamayo, and Michael Raffety.
Surviving along with her husband, Charles Toledo Sr., are her children Sharon Kopp (Doran) of Turlock, Kim Ahart (Jeff) of Escalon, Sharlene Toledo of Carson City, Nevada, Charles Toledo Jr. (Nichole) of Oakdale, Manuel Toledo of Friona, Texas, Emiliano Toledo of Friona, Texas.
Siblings: Manuel Lopez, Arlene Cuevas, Nick Tamayo, Melinda Martinez, Tia Clark, Joe Lopez, Jennifer Reinhart, and Fred Lopez. Rebecca has 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A service of remembrance will be held January 4, 2022, at Heritage Church in Escalon, California. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., service and graveside immediately following.
