Raymond Puccetti, 74, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Born in Escalon on Oct. 16, 1933, he lived there his entire life. He worked in the grocery business for Shaws Market for 25 years and was very active in the community.
A volunteer fireman, an avid sportsman, he loved fishing, hunting, baseball and was known by so many in Escalon.
Survivors include his only daughter Krystal Puccetti; his only grandson, Jacob Swimme; nieces, Deanna Cook and Sharon Gorman; nephew Edward Puccetti.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Abrama Puccetti; his brothers, Roy and Reno Puccetti.
Ray will be missed by his family and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at the Escalon Sportmens Club, 25195 River Road, Escalon.
