It is with great sadness, we announce the death of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Raymond L. Bettis was born on February 18, 1930 and passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023 at his home in Ripon, CA. Raymond died at the age of 93 years young.

He grew up on the family farm in Escalon, CA with his brother Ricky, sister Dolores along with his parents Lester and Elizabeth Bettis. Raymond is a Korean War Veteran, served honorably in the U.S. Army. He worked in the trucking industry, as a truck driver for most of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Juanita Bettis, son Ronald (Maria) Bettis, Modesto, CA; daughters: Kathy (Scott) Andrews, Redmond, OR, Janet (Don) Schramm, Garden Valley, ID. He also leaves behind two grandsons, and 2 great-grandchildren.

No funeral or memorial services will be held.

Raymond loved hummingbirds. So all who wish to honor his life are invited to hang a hummingbird feeder at their home.
