Randy Stone, 52, an Escalon resident for 24 years, died Saturday, June 28 surrounded by his wife and children at his home in Escalon.
He was born in Alabama, raised in Modesto and had lived in Escalon and worked for Escalon Livestock Market for over 24 years. He was known to love the outdoors and working in his yard was especially relaxing to him. His first love was his family; they were always number one in his life.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 32 years, Debra Stone; mother, Maureen Stone of Modesto; two sons and their wives, Randy Jr. and Melissa Stone of Riverbank and James and Katie Stone of Escalon; siblings, Mike Stone of Modesto, Sheila Stovall of Ceres, and Lisa Stone of Modesto; and two granddaughters, Emmalee Stone and Jamielynn Stone, both of Escalon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Stone.
Graveside services were Thursday, July 3 at 2 p.m. at Burwood Cemetery, Escalon.
