Philip Joel Couser, 65, died Saturday, Nov. 19 in Salt Lake after a battle with cancer.
He was born in Escalon and had lived in Bakersfield. He was a truck driver and also a member of a bowling club.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Couser; children, Christopher Couser and Clinton Couser; sister, Mae Lynn Puckett; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ethel Couser and sister, Delores King.
