Palmer Little

Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27 for Palmer Little, 82, of Escalon, who passed away on Saturday, Jan. 23 at Doctors Medical Center.

Palmer Little was the son of an Army officer, and was born in Boxford, Massachusetts. He lived there until his teen years where he did his last year of High School at Point Loma High in San Diego, California. After he graduated from high school, he enlisted into the Navy in 1944. After the war, he went to Treasure Island, and underwent training for submarine duty. He then went off to San Diego State, where he worked toward a BS in Geology. It was there that he met Betty in 1949. They were married in 1951.

After retirement, in 1999 he and Betty moved to Escalon, where he was very active in the Masons and the American Legion.

Memorial service will be on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon with burial following at Burwood Cemetery. There is an online guest book available at www.deeganfuneralchapels.com.
